The Voice in us all
by Sara Michelle Walton

There is a voice with in us all begging to be set free.
A voice that cries out for the love that we need
but what happens when that voice is not heard?
When it is neglected, ignored,or hurt?
Do we just bury everything inside or
search for the answers we are wanting to find?

Why are those who choose to never talk about it;
They choose to run and hide.
They never show the pain they are feeling but inside they are screaming;
wishing someone would hear their desperate cry.

They ask the question
Is life really worth living?
It's like Hamlet says,
"To be or not to be that is the question."
The constant battle of inner thoughts and feelings that seem unending.
Will the problem ever end?
Will the pain ever end?

Why are there those who continue to fight the "good" fight
but there are those who choose to end it all?

Don't they know that the pain is just temporary?
Don't they know that they have so much to live for?

Or do they not see their potential?
Do they not see those who truly care about them?
Do they realize how they feel?
The pain they cause when they choose to end it all?

I guess no one will ever know why.

No one is suppose to have all the answers.
Isn't that what life is all about?

I guess that is what makes us human;
What makes life worth living for.

There is a voice in us all.
A choice we have to make.
Do we chose to listen to the lies;
decide to end it all just to end the pain?
Or do we choose to fight;
continue to struggle but come out victorious in the end?

That is the question.
Now you make the choice.

The Journey Home
by Misty Wright

It's a road traveled by all yet not realized by many.
Every step brings us closer.
Each breath sweeter than the last.
Days pass by one by one drawing us closer to the end,
    of our Journey home.

As we make our way down the winding path,
the road seems so long and so impossible.
It is only when we have reached the end,
we realize how short our Journey really is.

Cherish every second, every minute, every hour, every day,
and live every moment to its fullest.
Savor the smell of every sweet smelling flower along the way.
Breathe deep and pure.
Cherish the tears for in them is a new found strength.
Cradle the innocence and beauty which has been created.

Live Life for he that gave you life,
for it is my prayer for you to be there with me in the heavenly courts,
        after the Journey Home.

Silent Cry
by Misty Wright

A frightened voice cried out deep in the night.
It was never heard or thought of, just ignored.
It pleaded for a loved one's hand,
    or even an understanding friend.
In desperation it begged for a shoulder to cry on,
and a comforting place to hide.
It longed to hear the words, " I Love You",
    sweetly said with care.
It needed someone to hear its silent painful cries,
in the midst of the night.
There was only one who heard the lonely cries
    for help that night.
I heard them for the voice was mine.

Remember Me This Way
by Jordan Hill

Every now and then
We've found a special friend
Who never lets us down
Who understand it all
Reaches out each time you fall
You're the best friend that i've found
I know you can't stay
A part of you will never ever go away
Your heart will stay...

c/o:
I'll make a wish for you
And hope it will come true
The life will just be kind
To such a gentleman
If you lose your way
Think back on yesterday
Remember me this way
Oh...remember me this way

I don't need eyes to see
The love you bring to me
No matter where i go
And i know that you'll be there
Forever more a part of me you're everywhere
I'll always care...

(repeat c/o)

And i'll be right behind your shoulder
Watching you
I'll be standing by your side
And all you do
And i won't ever leave
As long as you believe
You just believe

(repeat c/o)
