Even In Death
by Anja

Even in death
you’re always with me,
even in death
you’re always here,
don’t forget me,
please think of me,
life is much too hard to be.
The moon is shining
through the dark night,
little fires glowing bright.
I’m sitting here,
alone I am,
my tears are flowing
soft and tender.
I’ll miss you, forever.
Even in death
you’re always with me,
even in death
you’re always here,
don’t forget me,
please think of me,
life is much too hard to be.
The sun is shining,
people laugh,
don’t open the window.
I’m sitting here,
alone I am,
thinking about the last years,
how wonderful time has been,…
‘til you died.

Golden Boy
by Ana

Golden boy, I watched your comet
Flash across the velvet sky
Hoping that if I could catch you
you would teach me how to fly

Your starry trail blazed bright while I
Stood watching, barefoot in the dew
An ember, falling, caught my heart
And kindled there a flame for you

I kept my window open always
Every night I’d watch and wait
For you to leave the heights and claim me
With the magic kiss of fate

I thought you’d stay forever golden
Be the dream that never dies
Heaven’s deepest, purest blue
A living mirror in your eyes

But stars die out and joy is fleeting;
Even boys who dance in air
May feel the frigid winds of sorrow,
Know the touch of bleak despair

You did not speak once grief had seized you
Only turned your face away
What icy tempest left you frozen?
What was it you couldn’t say?

Through bitter tears I watched you falling
Every dream was shattered when
The joy that once burned like a beacon
Couldn’t save you in the end

Here on earth time passes slowly
Gentle breezes speak your name
I can only wait here, lonely
Till I see your star again

Undetermined Feelings
by Ginny Lee

With no outcome of a situation we wait
Undetermined feelings can’t be labeled as happy or sad
Hope and faith play a major role in times like these
A rollercoaster that no one is enjoying
Chaos, like these words, can stop in an instant or last forever
No sense, no rhyme or reason
Tough times now, tomorrow and forever will get easier
Unhappy news, I know, but just remember to breathe
Within every breath is a flow of emotion both good and bad
Moving from one to the next holding it only for a few seconds
Breathing is second nature let the undetermined feelings be as well
Every rollercoaster has to stop at some point
Whether your turn is over is still undecided, there is hope, always
You can scream loud or remain quiet, just keep breathing

Did You Know?
by Amy Williams

Blue eyes, deep and open
full of hope and smiles
Sweet squeaky voice
turning into sweet honey

A part of me?
A part of us all.
I couldn't believe that you'd fall

Did you know you were loved?
Did you not feel it around you?
Couldn't you feel the suns warmth
on your soft smooth skin

I forget sometimes that your gone
like perhaps you thought we forgot you
but then your face is before me and
i never did, and we never would

you were a somebody
you were always a somebody
and now i have to write it
instead of finding you and pressing
my hand against your cheek to whisper it to you
