Fan WritingPoetry, page 8by Erica Who can resist the heavenly light, as you stepped out of your body that November night, You fell asleep before the tide rolled in, with tired bones and tired feet, you took upon yourself the holy seat. Big rocks and tiny pebbles, got in the way of your perspective. You followed the angel who came to your bed, she whispered, "It's a part of His plan" so you reached out your hand. She took you to the holy land, above the stars, in the Lords arms. As you look down, you feel the weight of all the heavy hearts, you feel every beginning and every start. On earth is your memory, embodied in our minds, and in our souls, you got to know everyone who loves you so. And until we see the light, until we to leave our bodies on any given night, that is when we will see you, that is when we will be able to meet you. Together forever, for we are Gods people. Because who can resist His heavenly light? We all know you felt peace as you stepped out of your body that cold November night. Contributed by Erica by Josh Groban Wash away the thoughts inside That keep my mind away from you No more love and no more pride And thoughts are all I have to do Remember when it rained I felt the ground and looked up high and called your name Remember when it rained In the darkness I remain Tears of hope run down my skin Tears for you that will not dry They magnify the one within And let the outside slowly die Remember when it rained I felt the ground and looked up high and called your name Remember when it rained In the water I remain Running down.... Contributed by Heather by Savage Garden When you feel all alone And the world has turned its back on you Give me a moment please to tame your wild wild heart I know you feel like the walls are closing in on you It's hard to find relief and people can be so cold When darkness is upon your door And you feel like you can't take anymore Let me be the one you call If you jump I'll break your fall Lift you up and fly away with you into the night If you need to fall apart I can mend a broken heart If you need to crash then crash and burn You're not alone When you feel all alone And a loyal friend is hard to find You're caught in a one way street With the monsters in your head When hopes and dreams are far away and You feel like you can't face the day Let me be the one you call If you jump I'll break your fall Lift you up and fly away with you into the night If you need to fall apart I can mend a broken heart If you need to crash then crash and burn You're not alone Because there has always been heartache and pain And when it's over you'll breathe again You'll breathe again When you feel all alone And the world has turned its back on you Give me a moment please To tame your wild wild heart Let me be the one you call If you jump I'll break your fall Lift you up and fly away with you into the night If you need to fall apart I can mend a broken heart If you need to crash then crash and burn You're not alone Contributed by Verena by Sheryl Crow and Bill Bottrell Come to me now And lay your hands over me Even if it's a lie Say it will be alright And I shall believe I'm broken in two And I know you're on to me That I only come home When I'm so all alone But I do believe That not everything is gonna be the way You think it ought to be It seems like every time I try to make it right It all comes down on me Please say honestly you won't give up on me And I shall believe And I shall believe Open the door And show me your face tonight I know it's true No one heals me like you And you hold the key Never again would I turn away from you I'm so heavy tonight But your love is alright And I do believe That not everything is gonna be the way You think it ought to be It seems like every time I try to make it right It all comes down on me Please say honestly You won't give up on me And I shall believe I shall believe And I shall believe Contributed by JoAnna Morris |
